In grown hair/ pimple, how do i get rid of this?

So I shave maybe twice a week at most, and there's a spot on my face where I have not to much facial hair near my nose area but underneath my cheek bone anyway so I shave and there's a part where its like the hair doest fully grow out ever. So I figure it will eventually grow out completely but it never does but the other hair will. Then it starts growing back but only its a pimple. Now it just looks like a nasty blemish and I've had it for a week. It never went away. I don't wanna have this blemish / pimple / In grown hair for another month before it goes away. Cuz how am I supposed to shave, I feel like if I shave ill cut the skin and have a scar on my face. I don't want that. Do y'all think I should just trim my facial hair until this ingrown zit goes away. What would work? Plus I just started using pro active again it usually always works whenever I use it and I know it will unclog my pores. Do you think this will make my ingrown hair go away???
