What do I need to do become an investment banker?

I am planning to go to schulich or UofT Rotman. Get a BBA and then a MBA. That's the general route, but can someone give me detailed information? I have seen that there are many careers that I can go into after getting an MBA, but how do i specifically get into investment banking? Any other information such as job prospects, experience needed, etc? Any information on a career in consulting after MBA?
