Why can I unclog my shower?

I have used liquid plumber, tried a drain snake and plunged the drain, but nothing seems to work. The water keeps backing up in my shower. We have only been in the house for about 2 weeks now and it just started doing this yesterday. Does anyone know as to why my shower may be doing this and if so, how can I fix the problem?
