How do I get my ear unclogged?

My ear has been clogged for two days. Because I am sick I think that's the cause. I went to the doctor yesterday before it was clogged (it just hurt) and the doc said there was a lot of fluid in it...But then later yesterday it got clogged. What can I do to get it unclogged and what damage my ears? Also my ears have been ringing, which is really freaking me outt! Please help!
