How long will my swimmers ear last?

so i went swimming in the ocean and waves splashed into my right ear and at first it was very painful but now it isnt. but now i am sort of deaf in that ear and i wanted to know how long will it take for my ear to unclog so i can hear clearly again. its already been like 2 weeks so i was wondering what i can do to make it normal again?
