I can't get the toilet unclogged!???!!!?

Please help I accidentally got the toilet clogged and when my mom comes home she going to KILL me. Please help!! I don't even know how to use the plunger I'm pushing it up and down in the hole but it won't work. I keep pumping and flushing but it's almost to the rim. It's so brown and gross!! HELP PLEASE
