Should I return this Drum Dial?

I just recently purchased a Drum Dial from Guitar Center... Long story short; the Drum Dial came out of the box with the arm facing the 3:00 position instead of the 12:00 position. I put it on a glass surface and it zeroed itself back to the 3:00 position. It seems calibrated... it's just that I need to turn my head in able to read the dial. Should I return this Drum Dial?
