Was given a 30 day notice does it mean i have 30 days to move all my thing out?

antioch ca. i rent a room in a house with 4 others last month there was a problem with the plumbing where the owner had to go buy a snake to unclog a drain and some drane opener she couldnt fixit so i did she shows up 2 days befor rent is due and says we all have to pay her for uncloging the dranes she didnt i did..i didnt think it was right she show up 2 days befor rent is due with an added expence so i paid my rent and share of utilitys but not the added expence. she shows up the next day and hands me a 30 day notice to move out. DO I HAVE TO LEAVE IN 30 DAYS AND IS THIS LEGAL
