Why wont my boat run?

ok so I started my boat today fresh gas fresh oil and it fired up but it wouldnt run for more then 15 secs then would die after a a dozen or so trys it just wont fire up now I think the gas and oil just arnt mixing and i dont know how to unclog the oil its a mecury 30 hp outboard with both a oil and a gas tank can anyone help?
