Will Freemasonry disappear?Is Freemasonry good for your career?

The number of freemasons in the US declined from 4.2 million (1960) to just 1.4 million (2010).Will it disappear? I mean, I know that you have to pay a small amount of money to be a member, but since there are so few members it isn't profitable.Is Freemasonry good for your career.Are politicians and investment bankers freemasons?I am asking this because I personally don't think that it makes sense to pay 250$ to become a volunteer and not get any advantage than making friends.Let's be serious!
